The organization of postgraduate student serves as an important carrier of graduate education and management，therefore the healthy operation of postgraduate organization is an important issue in the construction of postgraduate organization. Now there are some problems in the operation of the postgraduate organizations，such as organizational objectives and responsibilities which are not clear and deviation of organizational autonomy；Organizational bureaucracy and transition ideology，lack of innovation in the work；Lack of coherence and cohesion of organization management，the goals of the student development that can’t be reflected. Student development theory provides a reference for the construction of postgraduate organizations in the perspective of the individual student development.
