After reviewing the evolution of Basel Accord, this report investigates several issues related with the implementation of Basel III in China. We find that, the current regulatory standards of banking industry in China are higher than the requirements of Basel III. Implementation of Basel III will have a certain impact on China's banking sector and macroeconomic development. This research proposes several suggestions for policy makers in the last part. <<
