Food safety risk communication is an important part of the risk analysis framework，plays an important role in the process of food safety risk assessment and risk management.At the same time，food safety risk communication is vital in solving food safety incidents properly. This article is based on a questionnaire about the effectiveness of food safety risk communication in Wuxi，based on risk analysis as the theoretical basis. and attempts to figure out the relevant factors by Exploratory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicate that：the transparency of risk assessment and management process、the criterion of risk assessment process and the participation of stakeholders have positive influence to the effectiveness of food safety risk communication directly. The participation of stakeholders and the process of risk assessment have positive influence to the effectiveness of food safety risk communication by influencing the transparency of risk assessment and management processes.
