This paper analyzes the development basis，problems and advantages of the five advantageous industrial clusters in Sichuan，and puts forward the development direction and trend of the five industrial clusters in the future. Sichuan should aim at these five pillar industries，give full play to their comparative advantages，and lay a solid foundation for high-quality economic development. Based on the new pattern of regional industrial development of “one trunk，multi-branches，five districts synergy”，focusing on promoting the intensive development of industrial clusters，we should optimize and adjust the industrial layout of cities and prefectures，and create the industrial layout of the five major industrial clusters in different regions. Focusing on the development direction of the five pillar industries，we should strengthen the cultivation of enterprises innovative subjects，strengthen to solve problems in cutting edge key technology，promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological results，and promote the in-depth development of civil-military integration；cultivate market players with strong competitiveness；promote the green and low-carbon cycle of industrial development，and vigorously promote resource conservation and comprehensive benefits. We should speed up the construction of a green manufacturing system so that Sichuan's comprehensive industrial competitiveness has stepped into the top rankingin the whole country，which helps basically establish the status of a strong manufacturing province with leading position among western region，radiating the whole country，integrating into the world，so as to effectively promote the governance and revitalization in Sichuan.
