To understand the general situation and development trend of international development of traditional Chinese medicine，and to provide useful reference for the internationalization strategy of traditional Chinese medicine. A total of 150 questionnaires were sent out to overseas Chinese physicians who participated in the Beijing Fair，and 106 questionnaires were retrieved for statistical analysis. Over 96% of overseas Chinese physicians are optimistic about the development prospects of Chinese medicine，and 92.71% of overseas Chinese physicians provide acupuncture and moxibustion treatment services. Chinese are the main group of practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine，and also the main investment force of international Chinese medicine institutions. Overseas Chinese medicine mainly serves locals，and only 16.98% of them use Chinese as their main service language. Overseas Chinese medicine legislation has gradually improved. 50.94% of the respondents said that their settlements have Chinese medicine-related legislation，and 50.94% of the respondents said that their settlements have established a Chinese medicine qualification committee or similar institutions. Overseas TCM education is relatively popular，60.38% of respondents said that their settled states （provinces） have opened TCM colleges and universities. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） has gradually got rid of its marginal position abroad，showing a trend of mainstreaming initially，and TCM （acupuncture and moxibustion） has shown a clear pattern of localization. There is still much room for the development of international TCM. The scale of TCM institutions can be developed and expanded. Therapeutic methods other than acupuncture and moxibustion can also be more popular. At present，the legislative management of TCM is gradually strengthened all over the world. There is a close relationship between TCM legislation and the level of TCM practitioners. In the Americas where legislation is relatively perfect，the management of TCM practitioners is more standardized，while in Europe where legislation is blank，the management of TCM practitioners is still worrying.
