Since 1996，Discovery Channel has started cooperation with China，which has gone through 22 years so far. In the meantime，the content of cooperation is gradually enriched，and the mode of cooperation is becoming more diversified. Focusing on Discovery’s cooperation with Chinese government agencies and Chinese film and television producers and producers，combined with the specific production and broadcasting situation in 2017，this paper will give a detailed introduction and summary of the cooperation cases between Discovery and CICC，CCTV-10 and SMG/Dragon TV，which tries to provide effective experience for the international production and broadcasting cooperation of Chinese documentaries，so as to show China in the new era objectively and truly in front of the people of the world.
