For China，2017 is a year of epochal significance，and a year when China attracted extensive attention all over the world. In the great historical period，telling Chinese stories and spreading Chinese spirit are the important pursuit and important responsibility of documentary. Combined with the production and broadcasting of the 2017 China Intercontinental communication center documentary，this paper summarizes the experience and achievements of international cooperation and dissemination of major domestic documentaries，Chinese traditional culture documentaries and new media short videos，striving to provide some useful experiences for the internationalization of Chinese stories in the new era.
