<<Japan’s direct investment in China has continually declined and its proportion of investment in China has also decreased since 2013. Meanwhile, some Japanese enterprises disinvest to different degrees in some industries and regions in China. These factors trigger Japan’s disinvestment such as the worsening relationship between China and Japan, the economic situations of both countries, the operational conditions of the Japanese enterprises in China, and the changing international situation. The increase of Japan’s disinvestment from China will have influence on the economic development of both countries and the restoration of bilateral relations. However,Japan’s disinvestment has also brought opportunities for the development of Chinese enterprises. In addition,it deserves serious attention to the Chinese strategic deployment including the transformation of the Chinese enterprises with the change of market pattern, the development of informatization intersecting industry with the next generation of manufacturing industry, and its future trend of development.
