This paper focuses on the comparative study of genre works. Taking the “Chinese Guys” produced in Mexico and known as “the first martial arts film in Latin America” as the sample，the paper interprets the differences in the aesthetic sense between this film and several popular Chinese martial arts genre works. Through the analysis of the so-called Chinese elements in the Mexican film and the three shared themes in this film and similar Chinese ones-transmission from master to disciple，weapons，and historical background，the paper analyzes the similarities and differences in interpretations of heroes from the different stories. Through aesthetically exploring the narrative mode，it reveals the aesthetic communication process between the kung fu works and readers（viewers）and the influence of the process on its narrative pattern.
