Since the corruption case of the Secretary for Transport and Public Works of the Macau S.A.R. had happened，and a warning from UNESCO regarding the sight-seeing to Guia Fortress，item of Macau World Heritage，was hidden by some over-height buildings which under construction around it. This caused the Macau people more concern about the insufficient urban planning in Macau. Under the pressure of public opinions，The Macau S.A.R. government speeds up the concerned works. This study attempts to summarize the progress of urban planning works done by Macau S.A.R. government within 2009 to 2010.
