“周边稳则中国稳，周边乱则中国忧”，周边邻国是当今中国国家战略发展的重要依托区。以2016年全国性民意调查为基础，从认知、情感等多个维度呈现中国人眼中的邻国形象。调查结果显示中国人将俄罗斯与日本视为大国，对巴基斯坦、印度尼西亚与俄罗斯好感度最高，最不喜欢的国家是菲律宾、越南和日本。关于周边国家与中国的关系，巴基斯坦主要被视为“伙伴国”，日本主要被视为“竞争国”，其他国家与中国的关系则相对复杂或模糊。此外，中国人对国际新闻的接触与亲身文化体验对他们认知邻国，以及形成更为积极的态度具有促进作用。
<<Neighboring countries are considered as important supporting areas in China's development.Based on the national public opinion survey in 2016，this paper presents the image of neighboring countries from the perspectives of cognition and emotion.It is found that Russia and China in the mind of Chinese people are both major powers.And for the Chinese people，the most favorite countries are Pakistan，Indonesia and Russia，the least favorite countries are Philippines，Vietnam and Japan，which are unchanged compared with last year.The overall situation of international news contact and direct cultural experience helps forming positive neighboring countries’ images in people's minds.
