在建构中美新型大国关系的时代背景下,本文聚焦于研究中国公众对美国的国家印象。分析的数据来源于华中科技大学国家传播战略研究院2016~2017年面向中国民众的全国性调查。结果表明,其一,超过一半的被访者表示自己“比较了解”和“非常了解”美国,这种程度要明显高于他们对中国的近邻日本和俄罗斯的了解;新闻网站、电视和社交网络是被访者使用的接触关于美国新闻的常见渠道。其二,被访者对美国和时任美国总统奥巴马的积极印象较差,收入较高者对美国和奥巴马的印象则要更好一些。其三,在政治、经济、科技和军事四个领域,美国都是中国被访者心目中首屈一指的世界大国。其四,在被访者看来,中美关系是至关重要的;虽然1/3的被访者认为美国是中国的竞争对手,但美国被更多人认为与中国同时具有竞争与伙伴关系。
<<In the context of building a new model of the major country relationship between China and the United States,this paper focuses on the study of the Chinese public's national impression of the United States.The data analyzed came from the national survey of Chinese people conducted by the national institute of the communication strategy of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2016-2017.The results show that,firstly,more than half of the respondents said they“know”and“know”the United States better than they know our immediate neighbors,Japan and Russia.News websites,television,and social networks are common channels used by respondents to reach news about the United States.Secondly,respondents had a weaker positive impression of the United States and then-president Barack Obama,while higher earners had a better opinion of the United States and Obama.Thirdly,in the political,economic,scientific,technological and military fields,the United States is the world's largest country among Chinese respondents.Fourth,in the eyes of interviewees,sino-us relations are of vital importance.While one-third of respondents consider the United States a competitor to China,the United States is seen by more people as both a competitor and a partner to China.
