作为中国国家形象的重要部分,中国体育形象一直倍受全球关注。以奥运会为代表的全球性体育媒介事件是展示各国体育形象的重要平台。2016年巴西里约奥运会,各国媒体都给予了充分报道。本文以里约奥运会为背景,选取《纽约时报》《华盛顿邮报》《泰晤士报》《联合早报》四家国外代表性主流媒体的涉华报道为样本进行编码统计,从报道数量、报道体裁、报道倾向和报道主题四个方面,分析国外媒介呈现的中国体育形象特点。研究发现:奥运会是塑造中国体育形象的重要平台,国外媒体在塑造中国体育形象时存在双重标准,国内媒体对中国体育形象的“自塑”影响着国外媒体的“他塑”。
<<As a crucial proportion of national image,Chinese Sports Image has been brought into focus globally.The global sports media event represented by the Olympic Games is an important platform to show the sports image of various countries.Meanwhile,Rio Olympic Games in 2016 has enjoyed full coverage after being a global sports event.Aiming to analyze the characteristics of Chinese Sports Image presented by foreign media,and put forward the optimal approach of shaping the Chinese Sports Image on the basis of reporting amount,genre,tendency and subject.This paper selects the following four foreign mainstream media for the sample statistics:“New York Times”,“Washington Post”,“The Times”,and“Lianhe Zaobao”.The study shows that the Olympic Games is a magnificent platform for shaping Chinese Sports Image;Double standards exist in shaping Chinese Sports Image in the foreign media;the“self-shaping”of Chinese Sports Image from the domestic media has influenced the“other-shaping”from the foreign media.
