Public participation is an important force in Qilian Mountain ecological environment protection，the environmental protection is a typical “public service career”，Qilian Mountain ecological environment is closely related to the general public who live in this area，reasonable and effective public participation can make up for the function and effect of related governmental departments and the market in the ecological environment protection in the Qilian Mountain，change the present condition of lacking public participation and insufficient function of the public participation so as to more effectively change the situation of the ecological environment protection in Qilian Mountain. This article will try to discuss the present situation of public participation，related problems and countermeasures on ecological environment protection in Qilian Mountain wishing to provide reference for the public participation in the future ecological environment protection in Qilian Mountain.
