    祁连山地区森林与水土涵养研究

    摘要

    祁连山地区的森林承担着水土涵养、调蓄山区及周边地区降水与冰雪融水、灌溉河西走廊、维持生物多样性等多重生态功能,对祁连山发挥生态屏障作用具有重要意义。祁连山地区现有森林总面积43。6万公顷,森林覆盖率为16。4%,其中,青海云杉为分布面积最大的乔木树种。基于树木年轮资料的研究发现,近几十年来随着区域气候变暖、降水增多以及生长季的延长,祁连山地区青海云杉树木生长在2000年以后明显加快,归一化植被指数(NDVI)的变化也显示出区域植被整体变好的趋势。从过去千年尺度来看,祁连圆柏树轮记录显示近两百年来祁连山地区气候逐渐变湿,树木生长处于相对适宜阶段。对作为祁连山森林生态系统中最敏感地带之一的高山林线的研究也发现,气候变暖导致了高山林线有向上爬升的趋势,林线处树木密度增加很快。通过祁连山地区已有树轮研究结果的综述分析发现,该区域树木生长整体主要受降水或干旱气候因子限制,短期(日际、月际、年际)和长期(年代际)的区域气候波动都会显著地影响树木生长变化趋势。对于祁连山森林生态服务功能的价值评估表明,水土涵养是该区域森林最主要的生态功能与价值。林冠截留、地表枯枝落叶层水文调节以及森林土壤入渗和调蓄地表及河川径流是森林水土涵养的主要机理。对比研究发现,青海云杉林是祁连山地区水源涵养效益最佳的森林类型,未来应该重点保护和发展。

    Abstract

    The forest in Qilian Mountain area has a multiple ecological function of soil and water conservation,regulating the rainfall and snow melt water in the hilly region of Qilian Mountain and the surrounding area,irrigating the Hexi Corridor,and maintaining biodiversity,hence plays a significant role of being an ecological barrier. The existing forest area in Qilian Mountain area is 436,000 hectares and the forest coverage rate 16.4% among which Qinghai spruce tree occupies the largest percentage in terms of distribution. Tree-ring-data-based study shows that the Qinghai spruce tree in the Qilian Mountain region grows faster than before after 2000 along with the regional climate warming,rainfall increasing and the extension of the growing season in recent decades,at the same time the change of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) also shows a good trend of the regional vegetation as a whole. The tree-ring data of Sabina chinensis in the Qilian Mountain region reveals that the climate in the Qilian Mountain region has gradually become humid in the past nearly two hundred years thus providing a relatively suitable environment for tree's growing while taking the past one thousand years into our consideration. The research on Alpine-forest-line which is the most sensitive part of the Qilian Mountain forest ecological system tells that the climate warming caused the alpine forest line has a tendency of climbing-up,the density of trees at Alpine-forest-line increases quickly. The comprehensive analysis on the existing tree-ring data of threes in the Qilian Mountain region displays that the tree growth as a whole in this region is mainly affected by rainfall or drought factor,also significantly affected by regional climate change in short term(the diurnal,monthly and annual) and long term (decadal). The evaluation of the ecological function of the forest in the Qilian Mountain region shows that the soil and water conservation is the most important ecological function and value of the forest in this region. The main mechanism of soil and water conservation is forest canopy interception,hydrological regulation of surface litter-layer,forest soil infiltration and regulate the surface water and river flow. We find out through comparative study that Qinghai spruce forest is the best forest type in the Qilian Mountain region in the aspect of water conservation benefits,should focus on the protection and development of this type of forest in the future.
