With the advancement and popularization of cyber and information technologies，there is a growing public demand for the disclosure of information about police affairs through the Internet，and public security organs have been making unremitting efforts to respond to this public demand. To objectively reflect and assess the actual situation of openness of police affairs in China，the Project Team on the Openness of Police Affairs in China conducted an assessment of the openness of police affairs in 81 public security organs throughout the country in the end of 2017 and，based on the results of the assessment，summarized the achievements，problems and deficiencies in the work of openness of police affair in China and put forward some recommendations for the improvement of the work.
