The overall development of modern service industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is stable and orderly in 2017-2018. Each of the upper，middle and lower reaches has its own advantages and characteristics. The inter-regional integration and interaction continues increasing and the coordinated development is notable. However，there is still a decline in the proportion of service industries in some urban areas. The green development model is still exploring the initial stage and the problem of poor inter-regional coordination and fragmentation is still exist. It is suggested that consensus be formed and security be enhanced at the same time. Interaction between the economic belt along the Yangtze River and the Belt and Road should be enhanced so as to promote the development of modern service industry，highlight the comparative advantages and achieve a coordinated and coordinated development between provinces.
