Nowadays，the green development has become an important development pattern. Many countries regard the green development as important measure to achieve regional sustainable development. Based on eight influential evaluation index systems，this paper constructs the evaluation index system of urban green development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt，to evaluate the green development level of 110 cities in the region. The results analyze the regional differences and socio-economic influence factors of green development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Finally，this paper puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the level of regional green development.
