The present study focuses on the safeguarding of the Dulong’s intangible cultural heritage. With a small population，Dulong people predominantly live in Gongshan County of Nujiang Prefecture in Yunnan province of China. In spite of underdeveloped economy and transportation，the Dulong created various and precious cultural heritages. This study reports on the approaches and problems in safeguarding and inheriting Dulong’s intangible culture by analyzing the projects on the heritage lists recognized by the national，provincial，municipal and local government.
