The Guangdong Provincial System Reform Research Association is mainly engaged in the research on reform and development of Guangdong Province. It has provided a number of policy recommendations to government departments and published a number of research reports. In the process of development，it has embodied four characteristics：defining organizational goals and functions，implementing the strategy of strengthening the talents，forming a collaborative governance structure，and focusing on the role of the media to enhance its influence.
