As an important part of land consolidation，construction land readjustment is an effective way to optimize the structure and layout of construction land in urban and rural areas，increase the efficient and intensive use of construction land，and promote the transformation of land utilization as well as integrated development of urban and rural areas. With emphasis on land banking and the redevelopment of low-efficacy urban land，this paper analyzes and summarizes the work in 2017 and offers some suggestions on reinforcing the construction land readjustment in China from such perspectives as the prevention of financial risk，the strict management of institutions and capital，the standardization of local land banking，and the improvement of institutions and mechanisms according to the requirements of the current supply-side structural reform.
