Based on the survey targeting at students majoring in Journalism from four universities in Shaanxi and journalists of five local news organizations，this study explores the current status of professional cogitation and its influencing factors among the two groups.The paper mainly focuses on the function of news education in the process of professional cognition by comparing the differences between the two groups which display the influence of news agencies in terms of socialization.The paper tries to draw an outline of the professional development of journalists，and to reveal the two group of peoples'feedback and appraisals of Journalism education.Then，the paper further on reflects on the contribution of Journalism education in influencing and shaping journalists in China.
