文化认同是指国家间文化差异缩小,文化冲突缓解,一国国民对另一国家的文化认可与接受的过程。本报告通过选取1990~2014年中国同40个贸易伙伴国之间的贸易数据以及世界价值观调查数据库(WVS)的调查数据,分别测算了中国贸易开放度指数和各国对中国的文化认同度指数。在此基础上通过构建回归模型对贸易开放度与文化认同之间的关系进行了实证分析。结果发现:贸易开放不仅对世界各国增强对中国在信任、控制、尊重和服从等维度的文化认同具有显著的促进作用,而且对中国整体文化认同度的提升也存在正向作用;此外,国家收入分配不平等程度不会显著影响贸易开放对文化认同所产生的促进作用。
<<Cultural identity refers to the process of cultural recognition and acceptance among countries with narrowing of cultural differences and alleviation of cultural conflicts.Based on China's trade data from 1990 to 2014 with 40 partners and data of World Value Survey,this paper measures the index of Chinese trade openness and degree of cultural identity from foreign countries,and then estimates the impact of trade openness on cultural identity.Results show trade openness not only strengthens Chinese cultural identity from other countries in terms of trust,respect,control and obedience dimension significantly,but also promotes the overall cultural identity.Moreover,inequality of income distribution will not affect the promotion of trade openness on cultural identity.
