In 2017，the coverage of all social insurance schemes continued to expand，the level of benefits was enhanced，the scale of social insurance fund increased steadily，the pooling level was gradually enhanced，informationization was further promoted，and progress has been made in the construction of a multi-tier social insurance system.This report provides a review of the overall development of social insurance in China in 2017，main reform progress of the social insurance system，and analysis of the future development trend of the social insurance system.
