The aim of hospital evaluations is to promote improvement of healthcare quality and patient safety and to provide a systematic solution for hospitals. International hospital evaluations has a history of more than 80 years since it began，while Chinese hospital evaluations has a history of about 30 years. So far，third-party hospital evaluations such as Ailibi Star Accreditation，JCI accreditation have developed steadily in China. With the release of rights of health department，third-party hospital evaluation would develop with the same importance of official hospital evaluations. Meanwhile，with the development of information technology，intelligence hospital would be the final end of hospital development. Therefore，the evaluation for hospital’s information technology would focus more on the degree of the hospital’s informatization. Besides，hospital rankings is also a way to evaluate hospitals.
