The current paper discusses the meaning of confirming cultural confidence，the cultural mission in the new era，and the connotation of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. We emphasize in the process we must take the spirit of the nineteenth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party as guidance，and solve the new problems by the new ideas and new methods，to create the new situation of the socialist cultural undertakings with Chinese characteristics.
