Under the circumstances of information age，the original data storage and calculation methods of vehicle industry need to be changed，cloud data service came into being under this background，it is mainly based on connected vehicle and cloud data.Cloud data service is of great significance to promote the integration and upgrade of vehicle，traffic，information and communication industry，and to reshape the related industrial ecology and value chain system.This paper introduces the development of cloud data from several aspects，such as the definition，importance of the cloud data，the relevant policies of the country and the demonstration of internet enterprises.In the whole industry chain，which consists of three parts of vehicle terminal data，application data and traffic information flow data，the relevant enterprise organizations should work together to promote the development of vehicle networking and cloud data from the strategic layout，service and technology，industrial policy，laws and regulations.
