Volunteer service organizations in Guangzhou have presented five major features：diversity of organization types，institutionalized operation management，precision of service content，diversified resource channels，and specialized team training.However，the incentive mechanism and evaluation measures for volunteers need to be improved；the interaction of social work service centers and voluntary service organizations needs to be optimized；the informationization level of management and service must be enhanced.All in all，it is suggested that Guangzhou start with the top level design to improve the system of incubating，cultivating and supporting all kinds of voluntary service organizations；starting with the construction of the mechanism to strengthen the measures for the construction and guarantee of the interaction of social work service centers and voluntary service organizations；starting with talent cultivation to deepen the mechanism of professional training of talents and innovation of service informatization，thus promoting the steady development of volunteer service organizations inGuangzhou.
