<<In this article，the authors employ action research method to explore the approaches of implementing a strengths-perspective-based community support project for the adolescent in urban China. After discussing and interpreting the strengths-perspective-based intervention models emerged in 1980s，the authors also explore a potential combination between western social work models and practical social services in Chinese society.
