Charitable organizations play an important role in promoting disability welfare. China Foundation for Disabled Persons and all the provincial and local Foundations for Disabled Persons are influential disability organizations in China. All the foundations for disabled persons collect social resources by multiple means，design and implement disability programs，and help to promote the rehabilitation，education，employment and life quality of disabled persons. However，foundations for disabled persons in China are confronted with challenges and need to make efforts in the following aspects，including strengthening social credibility，exploring more ways of fund raising，improving human resources management and improving the design of disability programs.
