It’s an important period for China to build a well-off society in an all-round way，and it’s also a crucial period for poverty alleviation work. People with disabilities poor groups are more difficult to get rid of poverty due to the large population，deep poverty and complicated causes of poverty. Due to its good environmental protection and strong sustainability，photovoltaic power generation has become an innovative means of poverty alleviation. It has changed the previous direct investment of “transfusion-type” poverty alleviation into “hematopoietic” poverty alleviation，opening up new channels for poverty alleviation work for people with disabilities，and illuminating the road to poverty alleviation for the people with disability. This study analyzes the specific practices，implementation steps and achievements in the case of the poverty alleviation and development work for the people with disability in Jurong City，Jiangsu Province. Also this study deeply analyzes the poverty alleviation development model of people with disability and provides decision-making reference for comprehensively promoting the cluster development of poverty alleviation work for the people with disability.
