The construction of barrier-free facilities and accessible built environment can not only be fundamental in guaranteeing people with disabilities an independent，safe and equal life，but become an important sign as the development of social civilization. This paper first summarizes construction background of barrier-free facilities in China and elaborates current situations by the end of 2017. Then compares related conditions with that in Singapore and Hong Kong to analyze constrains on constructing barrier-free facilities and accessible built environment. At last，suggestions regarding improving constructing system，regenerating current communities with barrier-free facilities，building accessible transporting environment，and introducing high-tech construction methods are put forward.
