based on the data related to the operation of new energy vehicles between April 2017 and March 2018（if other time period is covered by this report，remarks have been made）provided by the National Monitoring and Management Platform for New Energy Vehicles，the city distribution of new energy vehicles in China and analysis of typical cities were sorted out in this paper and the city distribution of types，drive mode，use and emission reduction effect of new energy passenger vehicles，buses and special vehicles in China as well as the policies，markets，charging thermal intensity，emission reduction effect and other aspects of new energy vehicles in typical provinces and cities such as Beijing，Shanghai，Tianjin，Shenzhen，Chongqing，Hangzhou and Xi’an were analyzed.
