There has been a tremendous growth in interaction and communication between Mainland，Hong Kong and Macao recently. Understanding the dynamic behind Mainland residents’ cognition and evaluation about Hong Kong and Macao plays an important role in social mentality. According to the big-data analysis，this study found that the social cognition among different regions is different，correspondingly，the evaluation about Hong Kong and Macao is also slightly different. Therefore，it is suggested that the new media communication could provide a more solid way to improve the social mentality of mainland residents and promote exchanges and cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong and Macao.
