“Sense of Gain” is the current social demand for the public who pursue the development of fairness and justice and the satisfaction of a better life. Understanding the current people’s real problems and urgent needs is the basis for the rapid development of society. This report is based on the sample survey data of the CASS-Intellvision Sense of Gain Survey 2018 published jointly by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Intellvision. It analyzes of the people’s sense of gain and related factors from the three aspects：the importance of projects，the current gained experience，and the future gaining expectation. The results show that：（1） People’s sense of gain in high-important and high-gained projects including：“safe living environment”，“stable and orderly society”，“good educational conditions”，etc；High-important and low-gained projects including：“stable work”，“fairness”，“satisfying income”，etc；（2） High-important and high-expectations projects including：“safe living environment”，“stable and orderly society”，“law”，etc；（3） Low-gained and low-expectations projects including：“satisfied income”，“fairness”，“democracy”，“justice”，etc；（4） People’s sense of gain differs in basic demographic variables such as gender，age，education level and monthly income.
