In the era of rapid change，the innovation ecosystem has become a hotspot topic of research and practice. There are research focusing on systematic thinking at national，regional and industrial levels which has formed extensive discussions on “National Innovation System”，“Regional Innovation System” and “Industrial Innovation System” while neglected the discussion on how to coordinate internal and external resources and enhance the competitive advantage of the innovation ecosystem in the context of open era with enterprise as a collection of elements. This chapter focusing on the theme of “Enterprise Innovation Ecosystem” comprehensively reviews and deeply combs the concept origin，connotation analysis，core research topics，classification types，theoretical framework，evolution process etc. of enterprise innovation ecosystem and puts forward a theoretical model of “building an enterprise innovation ecosystem based on core competence” and outputs relevant research implications based on future development of enterprise innovation ecosystem research.
