With the deepening in the interactive relationship between environment and main bodies of the society, environment culture, environment policy decision making, and environment control have received increasing attention. There are differences in the way of studying environment communications in different areas with different economic and social development levels. The European academic world has, along the line of cultural studies, dedicated to the study of the changes in the environment culture brought about by the way of living, the changes in social values and green politics. The U.S. environment communications focuses on the process of environment policy decision making and the public involvement in the process. It is a consensus in the natural science world that human activities have caused climate change. However, due to differences in the attitude of interest groups toward climatic change, this subject has long remained a hot spot in the controversy in the United States. In China, with the economy developing into a given stage, environmental problems have become increasingly prominent. Environment communications and environment control are closely linked. The environment communications studies in South American countries focus more on the guidance of media contents over the public attitude toward the environment and the behavior of environment protection. After the signing of the Paris Agreement in 2015,the environmental responsibilities all countries should undertake has for the first time been fixed in the form of mandatory targets, thus directly linking the environment problems with economic development and international relations. Thus, big power relations and international say will also become the new orientation for the study of environment communications.
