Based on official statistical data and other database including the Guangzhou Social Survey 2016 and the Guangzhou Community Interview database 2017，analyzing from perspectives of residents，this arfical discusses issues including the insufficiency of public service provision，the imbalance of public service provision between regions，and the sense of fulfillment for the middle-low-income groups between communities in the process of public service provision in Guangzhou. The artical found series of challenges for public service provision in Guangzhou，which include insufficient public investment for health care，gap between demand of residents on improvement of health care service and the actual health care provision，relatively insufficient public investment for primary and secondary school education，which is leading to unable to meet the demand of high quality education from local residents and basic education for children of migrant workers，regional imbalance between public service provision and demand from residents. The artical found three different types of evaluation for public service provision among residents. Further，this report found that between different income groups，the lowest level of satisfaction for public service provision is found among middle-low-income groups rather than the low-income group only. It is found that the sense of fulfillment for the middle-low-income groups is lower，which needs further support from public services.
