Guangzhou is the National Demonstration Area for Social Organization Construction Innovation. As of December 31，2017，there are 7，594 registered social organizations in Guangzhou. Social organizations are playing an increasingly important role in serving people’s livelihood and promoting social governance innovation. Base on analysis on development status of the social organizations in Guangzhou after the 18^th CPC National Congress，this artical demonstrates the latest characteristics presented in development process of the social organizations，and systematically summarizes the “Guangzhou experience” of social organization construction. Furthermore，this artical puts forward corresponding policy suggestions on future development directions，goals and paths of social organizations in Guangzhou in the new era，following latest requirements stated in the report of the 19^th CPC National Congress about social organizations.
