In this report,we make a comprehensive evaluation on distribution and development of medical resource in every province and the whole country during 2007-2010 by a composite index system of medical resource which contains 3 subindices,7 aspect indices and 22 specific indicators. We find that the average annual growth of score of medical resource reaches 13.35% by calculation of these indices,which is higher than the growth rate of GDP per capita. The rapid development has been achieved mainly through a large amount of health expenditure. There is a wide gap in medical resource among different regions,as well as between urban and rural areas,but this gap is narrowing in recent years. <<
