The year of 2017 is the beginning of the development of digital cultural and creative industry in Hubei. The overall characteristics of its development are as follows：the traditional cartoon enterprises have gradually transformed into “Internet+”；the game industry chain has been extended，new modes such as live gaming have become new growth points；immersive interactive experience industry has been booming；digital education and publishing industry has created education revolution；with the appearance of internet literature IP，industry development has been driven by premium copyright；internet companies have come to the ground to create new opportunities for the development of new media services. However，cultural and technological integration was still weak，digital transformation needed to be accelerated；private equity digital cultural and creative companies had poor financing channels，and industrial competitiveness needed to be improved；the training model for digital cultural and creative industries needed to be improved. All of these were the problems and challenges that Hubei digital cultural and creative industry faced in 2017.
