With the rapid development of economy and people’s constant pursuit of healthy entertainment in our country，leisure has become a manifestation of people’s pursuit of high quality of life. With the support and advocacy of national policies for leisure sports，the development space for the leisure sports industry has been greatly improved. This report uses literature，questionnaires，and interviews to conduct surveys on urban and rural residents and sports department managers in Hubei Province. The purpose is to interpret the status quo of the leisure sports industry in Hubei Province in 2017 and find out the problems，and to propose targeted development strategies.
