The study analyses the changes and challenges brought by the integrated operation of the Party's discipline inspection commission and the government's supervisory commission since Beijing initiated the pilot reform of the supervisory system.The study summarizes the experience of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee in terms of：i） regularizing supervision through new organizational structures and oversight approaches；ii） fulfilling the supervisory responsibility by focusing on priorities；iii） treating both the symptoms and root causes；and iv） institutionalizing and rationalizing supervision.In line with the new situations and requirements and based on the specific needs of Beijing，the study makes the following suggestions to improve the supervision work：i） priority to political integrity and focusing on primary responsibilities；ii）using Party discipline to conserve the political ecosystem；iii） exploring more effective supervision mechanisms；iv） building a faithful，committed and clean supervision team.
