自1994年我国高校招生规模急剧扩大以来,进入我国高校教师队伍的女性也呈快速增长趋势,如今高校女教师已接近专任教师总量的半数。尽管如此,女性教师在高级职称人员中所占比例仍然明显偏低,担任校院级领导职务和学术带头人者偏少。造成这一局面的主要原因,是高校科研学术资源配置不合理、女性教师的家庭负担普遍较重和承担的教学任务压力过大。为此,笔者建议从进一步鼓励女性教师“自强不息”和逐渐改善外部环境创设“女性友好”氛围两个方面努力,并注重高校女教师群体的健康发展,切实提高其学术地位和职业能力。
<<There is a great increase in the number of female faculty members entering into tertiary education since the implementation of the policy enlargement in recruiting university students from 1994. Now the presence of women is still very low, especially in high ranks of the faculty and among the academic leadership. The main causes of this phenomenon is the demanding workload of teaching, unreasonable academic resource allocation in universities and stresses of domestic labour. Thus, this paper suggests that progress could be made from both encouraging female faculty members to strive constantly to become stronger and by gradually improving the external environment to create a“female-friendly” surrounding. Meanwhile, more attention need be paid to the development of female faculty members and the improvement of their academic status and professional competence.
