Literature has the function of ethical education. All of the literary works contain ethics. Generally，a writer’s ethical thoughts are implied in literary works lest sermonizing should happen. The author reveals how the moral stand，ethical ideas and social criticism are expressed in Sosu’s Call from the perspective of ethical literary criticism. The book shows three ethical implication delivery strategies：first，the writer used details，dialogue and personification for his moral stand；second，he contrasted the words and deeds between positive and negative figures to convey his ethical ideas；third，he employed the conflicts between society and individual to express his social criticism.
