This report analyzes the status of blood collection and supply in 2017 in Yichang City.80，900 U of the whole blood was collected and 3，590 platelet pheresis in last year，which met the needs of the slightly increasing of blood utilization in clinics and kept blood supply adequate and safe. The report introduces “the wise blood stations” construction，propaganda and recruitment of donating blood without repayment in the whole city and the quality of blood management situation ，and analyzes current problems and challenges，and also offers suggestions from the following aspects： establishing blood donor care system，distributing blood donation network reasonably，implementing staffing，adjusting salary performance scheme，planning and coordinating blood collection and supply.
