This report is a summary of blood collecting and supplying in Xiamen city in 2017. It includes the general situation，main strategies，achievements and problems. The purpose of this paper is to provide useful experience for the effective development of blood supply in the next stage. The blood services agency in Xiamen ensures the safety and effective supply of blood for clinical use by strengthen cooperation between relevant departments，optimizing the internal management，innovating the form of propaganda recruit and strengthening quality control. This report also analyzed practical difficulties of unpaid blood donation and raised some advice like improving the local policies，proposing officers in civilized organizations to take the lead in blood donation，improving comprehensive capacity of the agency and so on.
