This report investigates the basic situation of the 5 blood banks of Ningxia Autonomous Region in 2017，analyzes the statistics on voluntary blood donation，blood collection，centralized blood screening，blood preparation，blood preservation and supply，and also introduces the work that blood banks had done in terms of blood safety management.Through data analysis，it's objectively reflected that the building construction，facilities and equipment allocation are basically able to meet work requirement of blood banks，voluntary blood donation is stably developing，blood collection amounts could basically meet the clinical blood demand，various professional work are orderly performed，blood quality and safety management has been continually standardized.In the meantime，some problems are discovered，such as the manning quotas of blood banks are insufficient，the mechanism of promoting voluntary blood donation by multi-department cooperation has not yet been established，the publicity of voluntary blood donation is not enough，the ratio of regular donor is not high，etc.These are problems on which emphasis should be placed in future work.
