2017年8月30日,按照中央环保督察组要求,浙江湖州市有关部门在大银山挖出大量就地掩埋的病死猪残骸。9月10日,事件经媒体报道后迅速引发关注。湖州市政府随后连发事件处置通报,媒体跟进调查也一并展开,其中曝出的“初步查明系2013年所埋”“当地村民多年举报无果”等情况受到热议,环保监管失察、病死猪无害化处理等问题引发反思。11日,湖州市启动相关追责问责程序,事件舆情热度攀至顶点。12日开始,事件舆情回落并渐趋平息。
<<As requested by the central inspectorate for environment protection,local authority of Huzhou in Zhejiang province dug out a number of dead pigs buried in Dayin Mountain on August 30,2017. This event immediately aroused public attention on September 10 after media report. Huzhou Municipal Government consecutively released circulars on this event and launched follow-up investigations. The investigations found out that “the dead pigs were buried in 2013”,and that “villagers’ reports for years were futile”,among others,which gave rise to hot public debate. Meanwhile,failure in fulfilling supervisory duties on environment protection and bio-safe disposal aroused reflection. Huzhou initiated related accountability procedure on September 11,and the public opinions reached its peak. On September 12,public opinions started to cool down.
