In 2017，the volume of public opinions concerning rural land went upward on the previous year. Contracted rural land registration witnessed full-scale acceleration and the extension of the second-round of land contracts for another 30 years upon expiration was in the focus of attention；the expanded pilot scope of the rural collective property rights system reform and dividend of reform also became the focus of attention；the extended reform of “three types of rural land” and “house sites for leasing and elderly care” aroused hated debates. The reform of rural land system continued attracting public interest，and the combined use of a wide range of media contributed to desirable publicity effect；public opinions concerning rural land disputes cooled down，but there emerged new development that needed additional attention.
